Condition Survey
Having on-board someone you could trust, to protect your interests and act on your behalf saves working hours, saves costs, saves troubleshooting at its birth.
Getting a condition survey during a chartering period is not always on top of the list.
But in numerous cases, this could prove to be crucial. We advise our partners not to do discounts, especially when it becomes specific – e.g. chartering a vessel for the first time, or having to deal with vessels that you already know and have issues with. Experience has taught us that issues do not stop once the vessel is redelivered to her Owners, but could go on for a while occupying your precious time.
Our condition survey report includes, on top of a full ROB bunker survey, a detailed description of vessels'.:
Cargo holds condition
Deck areas condition
Engine room condition
Bridge/ Operating rooms condition
Damages prior loading – after discharging,
Hold cleaning operations after dirty cargos/ cleanliness before loading
A list of vessels' statutory certificates.
Checking on vessels crew readiness and training
